The Bayern star returns to Barcelona’s interest

A news report today, Tuesday, revealed that the Colombian midfielder Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, who currently plays for Fiorentina in Italy, has become a subject of interest for the Spanish team Barcelona.

The report indicates that Cuadrado is among these names. His performance has impressed Barcelona’s Sporting Director, Andoni Zubizarreta, making him one of the players the Catalan club is keen on acquiring.

Since the start of the current football season, Cuadrado has delivered strong performances for Fiorentina, scoring four goals in 16 matches. This has drawn interest from other clubs, including Juventus and Bayern Munich.

Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, 25 years old, is versatile and can play both as a winger and as a full-back. It’s worth noting that while he currently plays for Fiorentina, Udinese still owns 50% of his transfer rights.

Fiorentina had attempted to secure full ownership of the player, but Udinese demanded €15 million in exchange for relinquishing 50% of Cuadrado’s transfer rights. However, Fiorentina’s offer was declined.

It is expected that Cuadrado’s price will range between €20 million and €25 million, but the amount may increase if there is significant competition from major European clubs seeking his services in the upcoming period.
